Hello folks! Scott here, and there’s a tournament on the horizon, so that means it’s time for me to put my brushes to work on an army that has spent far too long languishing unpainted in my case: my much beloved Tzeentch demons! Here’s the rundown on the 1500 point list:

The full 1500pt force. Horrors and Lord of Change basecoated, Demon Prince finished, rest of the lads primed.

Lord of Change w/ Breath of Chaos

Pink Horrors of Tzeentch x9 w/ Bolt of Change

Pink Horrors of Tzeentch x9 w/ Bolt of Change

Pink Horrors of Tzeentch x9 w/ Bolt of Change, The Changeling

Flamers of Tzeentch x4

Flamers of Tzeentch x4

Flamers of Tzeentch x4

Fast Attack:

Screamers of Tzeentch x9

Heavy Support:

Daemon Prince w/ Mark of Tzeentch, Daemonic Flight, Unholy Might, Instrument of Chaos, Bolt of Change

A bit spammy? For sure. But, considering I’ve limited myself to only Tzeentch choices in the Codex, there isn’t much I can do about it. Either way, the list is a blast to play. The entire force is all offense all the time, which is a pretty huge departure from the ultra tough, defensively-minded power armored lists I’m used to hiding behind.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be posting work-in-progress shots of the army as it comes together, with updates on the trials and travails of painting a 50 model army in just over two weeks. To be honest, I’m pretty excited. Plus, any time I get to paint 27 infantry the most obnoxious shade of pink I can concoct, I’m pretty happy. Here’s a few shots of the army in its early stages:

Basecoated magical buzzard. Change for the…change…god?

Finished test model, sans basing, for my optically-devastating Pink Horrors. Throwin’ up the horns.

Stay tuned!

Looking forward to watching this one… I’ve still got a bunch of cultists to finish… then just a few more Chowse ‘rines… then it’s the finishing of the accompanying list to yours… “Nurgle after Dark”.
